Zaroori App Update: Transition to Social Login – New Features & Future Plans
We’re excited to announce a major update to the Zaroori App that will make your experience even more seamless and secure! As part of our ongoing improvements, we’re disabling email and password-based sign-ups and logins, transitioning to a social login-only system. This means that moving forward, you’ll be able to sign up and log in using popular social platforms like Google, Facebook, GitHub, and more, with additional platforms coming soon.
What's New?
Starting today, users will no longer be able to sign up or log in using an email and password. Instead, you’ll be able to authenticate your account with your preferred social platform. Here's what’s available now and what's coming soon:
Current Social Login Options:
- GitHub
More Platforms Coming Soon: We’re continuously working on integrating even more social login options, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, and Apple login. Stay tuned for updates as these become available!
Why the Change?
There are several reasons why we’re making this change, all of which are aimed at improving your overall experience with Zaroori:
Enhanced Security: Social logins are more secure, leveraging the advanced authentication methods provided by established platforms like Google and Facebook. This means better protection for your account and personal data.
Convenience: Forget about remembering passwords! Social logins make it faster and easier to sign up and log in with just a click, saving you time and effort.
Future Growth: By moving to social login, we’re positioning ourselves to integrate more advanced features in the future, including easier access to third-party tools and services.
For New Users:
If you’re a new user, the process is simple! Just select Google, Facebook, or GitHub from the sign-up screen, and you’re ready to go. You can quickly sign up, access your account, and start using Zaroori right away.
For Existing Users:
We understand that many of you have already created an account using email and password, and we don’t want you to worry about losing access to your account. Rest assured, you can still log in using Google login, and your account will be linked to it.
- How to Log in Using Google:
- Simply go to the Login page and click the Google Login button.
- If your email was previously linked to your Zaroori account, you’ll automatically be granted access.
- No need to worry about your data – everything will be safely linked to your Google account.
Important Consideration for Social Logins:
Please note that if you sign up via a social login, your referral will not be counted, and the person who referred you will not receive rewards. This is because social logins do not currently support referral tracking. If you’re using a referral code, please make sure to sign up via email or wait for future updates that might address this.
What You Need to Know:
New Users: From now on, you will need to sign up using one of the social login options available. You can choose from Google, Facebook, or GitHub, and soon, additional platforms will be available.
Existing Users: If you’ve already created an account using email and password, you can continue to log in using Google login. Your email and password credentials will be linked to your Google account, allowing you to easily access your account.
What’s Next?
More Social Platforms Coming Soon: We’re working hard to bring in additional social login options like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Apple login to make it even easier for you to access your account. Stay tuned for updates!
Referral Program Changes: If you were referred by someone and signed up via social login, the referral will not be counted, but you will still get access to all other features. We are working to introduce changes that will allow us to track referrals with social logins in the future.
How to Use Google Login for Existing Users:
If you already have an account with Zaroori and are concerned about how to log in now that email/password logins are no longer available, don't worry. Here's how you can access your account:
- Go to the Login Page: Open the Zaroori app or website.
- Click the "Sign in with Google" Button: On the login screen, click the Google Login button. If you’re not already logged into your Google account, you’ll be prompted to log in.
- Access Your Account: Once logged in, you’ll have access to your Zaroori account, and all of your data will be safely linked to your Google account.
Summary of Key Points:
- No more email and password logins: From now on, you must use Google, Facebook, or GitHub to sign up or sign in.
- Additional social logins (Twitter, LinkedIn, Apple) will be coming soon to make your experience even more flexible.
- Existing users can still log in via Google login, and all previous data will be linked.
- Referral rewards are not applicable if you sign up using social logins, as social logins do not currently support referral tracking.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we move to this more secure and convenient method of logging in. We believe these changes will improve your Zaroori experience and make it easier for you to access all the great features we have to offer.
